Hoist lifting capacity is determined by the tolerance of the line material, frequency of use, power source and the hoist supporting structure, etc. . The line material refers to the media through which a force will be used to lift an object or loads. Chain and wire rope or cable are the most frequently used line materials. Whereas, the rope and strap or webbing can be used as the line materials for the smaller or lighter loads
