• As a famous paper manufacturer in North America, the client operates a plant with four machines to produce paper for printing newspapers and magazines. Two furnaces are supplied with fuels to generate the steam needed in the production process.
• The two sets of double-girder overhead travelling cranes supplied from DQCRANES, has a load capacity of 40 tons, span 22.25 m and travels on a runway at a height of approximately 10.688 m. It clears shredded wood chips from two tipping positions and first heaps them in the storage area. Using a motor-powered orange peel grab, which has a capacity of up to 8 m3 thanks to its enclosed design, this 40 ton overhead crane also picks up deliveries of slurry and distributes it over the entire storage area.
• This 40 ton bridge crane works around the clock, also operating smoothly down to temperatures of 20 degrees below zero. The electric components of the crane installation are installed in an insulated and heated container on the crane bridge. Eight motors for the long-travel motions and four for cross-travel ensure that the crane positions exactly, even in strong wind conditions. If the wind force 10, the bridge cranes will be switched off and mechanically locked.

Grab Crane Application

Grab crane is the equipment that is commonly used in industrial site to load and unload powder (bulk) goods in 3-dimensional space.
