It’s a Bangladesh Coil plant. It was established in 2000, which first started in the manufacturing and distribution business of steel coil in world-wide market. The plant has set up a state-of the art Cold rolling Mill complex at Kumira 25KM from Chittagong. The Complex built on a 10 acre site, houses pickling line, 6 Hi CVC cold rolling Mill Slitting and rewinding line with an annual capacity of 250000MT. Main products are CRFH (Cold Rolled Full Hard), CRCA (Cold Rolled Closed Annealed), GPFH (Galvanized Plain Full Hard), GC (Galvanized Corrugated).

Crane Requirements
The Bangladesh coil plant needs a set of material handling equipment to lift the standard sized steel coils, which cannot be held by crane hook only and the special lifting slings are needed. Most of the steel coils are final products, packed with delicate packages which needs to be handled tenderly with no rudeness. There are three obvious features of the Bangladesh overhead crane, the work duty, crane speed and high cost performance.
1) Work duty
The crane will work 24 hours each and every day. The whole working time is very long, and one working cycle takes about 3 minutes, but with low working frequency. That’s to say, the breaking time between the working cycles is long. After calculation, A5 is enough and safe for crane operation condition.
