High Speed Wire Rope Hoist Used in Thermal Processing Plant

Last few days we got an inquiry to provide a wire rope hoist for use in a thermal processing plant.

Challenge:

• A thermal processing plant in Bangladesh, needed a high-speed wire rope hoist. Used in a heat treating and quenching operation, the hoist had to have fast lifting speeds to ensure quick transport of a load from the oven to the quenching tank.

Solution:

• Dongqi Cranes provided a high-speed, monorail wire rope hoist. The customer can lift at a higher speed, greatly speeding up the transport process. In addition to high speeds, the electric wire rope hoist was equipped with heat shields for protection against the high heat of the oven.
