The surface hardness :HB ≥300-380
Minimum quenching depth：20 mm
Hardness of the minimum quenching depth: HB≥260 mm
Crane wheels group structure
Commonly used structural design is: the crane wheel is assembled on the bracket to form a crane wheels group, for example angle type bearing box wheel group and trolley type 45 degree split bearing box wheel group, in the crane main structure, after install and adjust wheel suitable horizontal deflection, then fix it.

Crane wheels repair and maintenance
1. The shaft hole of the wheel group needs to be checked regularly, and the defects and the depth of the shaft hole are strictly specified. If the specified amount is exceeded, it is necessary to replace the new parts.
2. If the radial wear of the pulley groove of the wheel group is more than 32% of the thickness, it needs to be replaced. If no more than 32% of the thickness, it can be maintained and the distance can’t exceed 0.5 mm.
3. During maintenance, wheel pulley group need to check for cracks. The wear of shaft neck parts is not more than 40%, or the components must be replaced.
4. For the removable wheel crane accessories in maintenance, after inspection and maintenance, it should be assembled in time. After assembly, it is required to be tested.
Crane wheels group development

Crane wheels shaft material is 42CrMo, quenching and tempering after roughing, and heat treatment hardness is HB300. Bearing box adopts cast steel. All bearings adopt spherical roller bearing with long service life and reliable quality.
