Crane assembly 2: Linked the main girder

As we know the 40GP container inside length is 11.8m,so in order to put the main girder into the 40GP container, we will produce the overhead crane main girder into two pieces, one is 11m and one is 9m, checking the below picture.

Then we put the 11 meters length crane girder and 9 meters crane girder into the open area, then use the forklift to ship two pieces together; During this process, we shall look at the two pieces crane girders bolts holes, then fixed the crane girders by our supplied high strength bolts, checking the picture.

Crane assembly 3: Linked the main crane girder and overhead crane end carriages together

Then we shipped the two pieces end carriages besides the overhead crane main girder, then with the help of forklift, we shall fixed one side end carriage to main girder of the overhead crane; And then the other side, we shall fixed the electrics box and connect the cables. Then fixed the motors, travel limit switch etc., and other small crane parts, checking the picture below.

Crane assembly 4: Connect the electric hoist

As for the electric hoist, we shall send the separately hoist and traveling trolley. During the installations, we shall fixed the traveling trolley and hoist together firstly, see the below picture:

Crane assembly 5: Fixed the electric hoist to the main girder

Then we shall use mobile crane to lift the overhead crane bridge frame around 1 meter up from the ground; Then with the help of workers, we shall fixed the electric hoist to the overhead crane main girder.

Crane assembly 6: Put the overhead crane on the rail

As we know, the overhead crane will be installed inside of the warehouse; Most of the warehouses have no much working height for the mobile crane, so we will remind the client to have the roof uncovered.
With the help of mobile crane, we will lift the overhead crane up and make it near to one side of the rail, then put it down softly; Then find the right position and put the other side down.

Then we shall correctly confirm which side is the power supply, then fixed the bar and current collector well.

Then we shall connect the cables/ electrics according to our supplied electrics drawings.

Crane assembly 9: Turn on the power

Turn on the power to see whether the overhead crane is powered correctly or not. If not, we shall double check the connections; If yes, we will process the next process.

Crane assembly 10: Commissioning the 5 ton crane

For the overhead crane commission, usually we will check the two points:
First one is to see the electric hoist lifting & traveling and crane traveling, check whether they can work proper;
Second one is static load testing, for this one, we will test the 1.25 times, 6 tons lifting. The correct performance is crane can lift 6tons one meter from ground. Third one is dynamic testing, for this one, we shall test the 1.1 times, 5.5tons. We shall lift the 5.5tons cargo and see the crane traveling.
