In 1963, Tianjin crane machine factory had design and production of explosion-proof electric hoist, and then electric single girder explosion-proof crane and suspension crane products came out one after another. In 1964, it was began to design and production the type of CD and MD hoist from Tianjin Lifting Equipment Factory, Shanghai Lifting Equipment Factory, Chongqing Crane Factory, Dingxi Crane Factory, Xi'an Crane Factory, Shenyang Crane Factory and Beijing lifting equipment and Transporting Machinery Institute Series gourd. The type of CD and MD hoist are the second generation of China's hoist development, it is the current mainstream products.

On the basis of DL type and DX type production in 1976, It was designed and production by joint venture of Tianjin Crane Equipment Factory, Kaiyuan Crane Factory, Chongqing Crane Factory, Changsha Crane Factory, Luoyang Crane Factory and Beijing lifting equipment and Transporting Machinery Institute. For the LD-electric single-girder cranes and LX electric single-girder suspension cranes, becoming China's second-generation electric single-girder cranes and suspension cranes products, has been produced so far is still the leading domestic product. The 70s of last century, China has also came out the LB explosion-proof electric single-girder crane, LXB-type explosion-proof electric single girder suspension cranes and LH electric hoist double beam cranes and other products.

Hoist as the lifting mechanism of electric single-girder suspension crane, the Shanghai crane factory is still the earliest imitation of the former Soviet Union in the 40's ΠK truss-type single-beam cranes, and carried out a series of production for China's first generation of electric single Beam suspension crane, but also has been produced until 1987 was discontinued (no reproduction since January 1987).

From the late 1970s to the early 1980s, hoist cranes have entered a new step of the introduction and development. Tianjin Lifting Equipment Factory had imported the German STAHL company's AS-type full range of wire rope hoist technology; There are three company jointy by Nanjing Crane Machinery factory, Beijing Lifting Equipment Factory and Shanhaiguan Lifting Equipment Factory had imported the German DEMAG's chain hoist technology; In the mid-1980s, It designed and production mainly by Nanjing Lifting Machinery about the H-type wire rope electric hoist, It designed and production mainly by Chongqing Crane Factory about the joint development gourd gantry crane products. The import of AS type hoist technology with the world advanced 80's level, it is the representatives of the China's third-generation hoist.

The type of LH electric hoist double beam crane is in the 70's Wuhan crane factory as the representative, it developed by themselves, the type of HC electric hoist as the lifting mechanism of China's first generation of electric hoist double-beam cranes.
