What is crane motor?

Crane motor is a part of gantry crane and overhead crane, which is a kind of equipment for electrical energy into mechanical energy. It is through the electric coil (i.e. stator winding) to produce a rotating magnetic field and its function in the form of rotary torque.

The crane motor is divided into DC crane motor and AC crane motor by using different power. The crane motor power system most of the AC crane motor can be synchronous or asynchronous crane motor.

The crane motor is mainly composed of stator and rotor, the direction of the force movement in the magnetic field is related to the current direction and the direction of the magnetic induction line. The principle of the crane motor is the effect of the magnetic field on the current force, so that the crane motor rotation.

In the crane field, the crane motor is AC three phase asynchronous motor.

Conical type rotor motor

This type crane motor is used for single girder overhead crane, double girder overhead crane, Single girder gantry crane, Jib crane.
The conical type three-phase asynchronous crane motor is the stator of the electric crane motor for the three-phase scattered type distribution winding. The rotor is a cage guide.

The wound type three-phase asynchronous crane motor is the stator of the electric crane motor for the three-phase scattered type distribution winding. The rotor coil ends are not directly lead to short-circuit, but lead to the start control device of slip ring.
