Bridge Crane Main Girder Design

The main beam span is 34m, is composed of upper and lower cover and two vertical webs composed of closed box-section solid girder connected to the girder cross-section of the web Thickness of 6mm, the thickness of the flange plate is 10mm, the width of the walkway on the main beam depends on the length of the end beam and the plane size of the trolley running mechanism. The height of the center of the main beam span should be H = L / 17. The overlapped form is adopted. The height of the connection between the main beam and the end beam should be H0 = 0.4-0.6H. The stability of the web is maintained by the transverse stiffener plate and the longitudinal stiffener or angle steel. The longitudinal stiffener is welded by continuous spot welding. Beam flange plate and web welding fillet weld seam, the main beam will usually produce under the deflection deformation, but the processing and assembly using prefabricated arch.

Bridge Crane End Beam Design

The end-beam also plays an important role in the crane and it is a key component for carrying panning transport. Beam part is composed of a combination of the end of the wheel beam frame, the beam part of the main cover plate, web and lower cover composition; end beam is connected by two sections and angle plate with high strength bolts. In the inner end of the beam is provided with ribs to ensure the stability of the end beam after loading. The main dimensions of the end beam are determined according to the span of the main beam, the wheelbase of the cart and the track gauge of the cart. The operation of the cart adopts separate transmission schemes. When assembling the crane, connect one section of the end beam with one of the main girders, and then connect the two sections of the end beam.
